Todd and I woke up this morning and drove to Brigham City, and thought, "We haven't been to the DI in a while. Let's stop by and see what they have." As we were wandering through the store I had found a wooden snowman that I can paint and put together for .75 (it still had Walmart's price tag on it for $3.00) Great buy for me. We went over to the glass cases where all the special items are. There were snow globes, music boxes, spoons, Barbie's, and books, all of which are collectibles (Ya, right). Todd and I noticed a little leather book for $150.00 That's right- something was really priced over $20. This book was signed and even had a photo of the author. It was dated 1914. The nice gentlemen did a great job selling this, because Todd and I both left with vision's of money (paying off our house, student loans, getting a new car, anything and everything we ever wanted.) When we got home I put the kids down for a nap while Todd looked up the book on the Internet. He didn't say too much but when he did it didn't sound good. "$8.00." He looked again. This time a different site. "$10.00," nothing that was going to pay off our home. We felt betrayed. The lovely little helper (with the bright orange bike helmet (what were we thinking?)) told us that they looked up the book and it was priced at $250.00. Needless to say, it was overpriced. Long story made short, we got our money back and no longer have the book.
Remember this: Things at the DI can be over price like any other store.

Is it that time of the month again????
Ever had a day that where you want to cry, and no matter what anyone says it is never the right thing. Your kids drive you nuts, your husband asks you when you are "going to start." Nothing sounds good to eat, and you want to make a really big purchase, like a car.
People I feel like I am going crazy.
On another note. Audrey's first tooth FINALLY broke through. Todd, was so excited, he told her that she was growing up and that next she would be starting her period. Leave it to dad to always say the right thing.
Jaxon. is learning to talk back, and when he is in time out he is always telling me that I am a mean mom. He is a pro at rolling his eyes, and even when he is telling me that I am soooo mean, he seems to keep me laughing. Even if it is for only a second. But he is really good at pressing my buttons and knowing when to do so.
