In the Beginning.....

When Todd and I had Jaxon, we were able to do anything and go anywhere. He was the best kid ever. We thought that we were the best parents. Then our sweet Audrey was born. And the best kid in the world showed Todd and I that we were wrong. Hitting, screaming, pinching, punching, running way, clawing faces, yelling (what else is their that he could do ?) At least we thought that their wasn't anything else that he could do.

With in the first couple hours of Audrey's arrivel the jealousy began. He threw a piece of cheese that landed on her head. A couple days later he was hitting her, and did not want anything to do with Todd. He was glued to my hip. If I was feeding her, he was on my lap. If I was changing her, Jaxon said that he needed to be changed. It drove me crazy. Then he started to yell at her when she was crying. He would yell " STOP IT" and would cover her head with a blanket. I never thought that it would be this bad. Though he loves her and always wants to hold her, it seems that it doesn't last.

We had some friends over to see Audrey and of course Jaxon locked down on their baby's finger. ( This is the first time that he had done this.) we have found out that time out is now a waste of our time, but Todd and I still play "Super Nanny" against our own will. Some days are better then others, so we do have some hope.

This weekend we are going to Salt Lake to see the fam. Hope this helps Jaxon, on the other hand we could be coming home early.
